The launch of the giant HP Elite X3 seems to be just around
the corner, judging by recent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications for the
device. The Elite X3 was announced back in February, at MWC 2016, with the
ambitious promise to fuse the capabilities of a smartphone, a PC and a laptop
in one device (with the help of several accessories). After that, HP went
silent for a while, until it showed off the phone at Computex 2016 and teased
us with a handful of videos earlier this month.
The Elite X3 is coming soon, and when it lands, it's going
to be the most powerful Windows 10 smartphone around. With its 6-inch 2K
screen, 4GB of RAM and 4,150 mAh battery, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 820
CPU with two cores clocked at 2,15GHz and two running at 1,6GHz, the Elite X3
might be able to make a splash in the Windows mobile market before (if) the
fabled Surface Phone is released.
